Background 
Shou-Feng Junior High School was founded in August of 1963. At that time, it was the Shoufeng Branch of Ji'an Junior High School, and since the school building was not yet completed, only two classes were recruited, and classes were held in the classrooms borrowed from Fengshan Elementary School. After part of the school building was completed, the students moved back to the campus, but some activities were organized to tidy up the campus and plant flowers and trees.
On April 12th of 1966, our school officially became independent and was renamed Shou-feng Junior High School. Mr. Zeng Qingyu, the former head of the branch, served as the first principal, and six classes were established.
In 1968, in response to the implementation of the nine-year compulsory education, our school was reorganized into National Shoufeng Junior high School, with up to eighteen classes at its peak.
Currently (academic year 112), there are 6 classes in our school.
